About Me

Welcome to my site! My name is Mackenzie and I am a passionate Economics and Finance student at the University of York. I have a wide range of interests, including Formula 1, travelling, skiing, sports, art, and music.

In my studies, I specialize in Econometrics and Macroeconomics, where I have developed strong analytical and critical thinking skills. During my year 0 at the University of Essex, I was proud to have been recognized on the Deans' List of Excellence for my academic achievements.

But my interests and passions extend beyond academia. I am committed to leveraging my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact not just in the world of finance, but on the people and world around me. Whether it's through volunteering, advocating for social justice, or supporting environmental sustainability, I believe that we all have a responsibility to give back and make a difference.

What do I Believe in?

My goal is to create and produce a positive impact on the environment and those around me.

I believe in a fair society for all individuals regardless of origin. There are many who still live in extreme poverty around the world, even developed nations are not rid of poverty yet (Want to learn more?).

By redefining how we view our roles in society we can build toward ensuring everyone has a fair chance at life.

I believe we all have a duty to protect the environment. Whether its turning a light off or investing in renewable energy, we need to make real changes in order protect the rarest resource in the universe, life. (How can we help?)

What do I Enjoy?

I like a lot of things, from playing all kinds of team sports to exploring art galleries and museums. But I'm particularly passionate about Formula 1 and traveling. There's something about the thrill of the race and the excitement of discovering new places and cultures that really excites me.

The photos in this section capture some of those unforgettable moments, from the historic landmarks of Rome to the picturesque coast of Scotland. Through my travels, I've had the opportunity to meet new people, try new foods, and gain a deeper understanding of the world around us.
